What does it take to be a disciple of Jesus? How does one live the teachings of Jesus and help others to do the same? What is our place in His Kingdom? How do we help Him expand His Kingdom? What does Jesus expect of me? These should be the questions of every disciple.
Why A Chosen Fool?
The Word tells us:
John 15:16:
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last.1 Corinthians 1:27-30
27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him. 30 It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.I am a chosen fool. Jesus hand picked me, and everyone that has heard and excepted His calling. It is not me but Him in me that allows me to answer the questions above and to live his truths out daily. This blog seeks to find the answers to these questions and it will also chart my own journey into the abundant life Jesus bought for me and you on the cross.
